What is the difference between DTF (Direct to Film) and Sublimation?

It's essential to understand the key differences between these methods, as well as their print size, transfer process, print quality, print texture, suitable materials, quantity of products required, and colors.
·DTF printing involves applying a design directly onto a film that is then heat-pressed onto the desired material. On the other hand, sublimation printing requires the design to be printed onto a special paper that is then heat
pressed onto the material, causing the ink to turn into gas and bond with the
fibers.
·DTF printing can be used on a wider range of materials, including cotton and
dark-colored fabrics. Sublimation printing is limited to polyester or
polymer-coated materials and works best on light-colored fabrics.
·DTF prints generally have a better hand feel and softer texture than
sublimation prints, which can sometimes feel stiff or rigid.

How should I wash and dry my DTF apparel?

·Separate by Color: Sort your DTF apparel by color to prevent blending or color transfer during the wash. Turn Inside Out: Before placing items in wash, turn items inside out to reduce chances of graphics fading or cracking.
·Wash Cycle: Use a gentle or delicate cycle with cold water, helps preserve colors and prevents shrinking.
·Detergent: Select a mild, color safe non bleach detergent to help avoid damage to the graphics.
·Fabric Softener: Avoid using, they may harm the fabric or reduce longevity of apparel.
·Wash Load: Limit items in washing machine to avoid overcrowded, for items to move around without getting tangled.
·Like Items: Wash with like items of the same fabrics to avoid friction with rougher fabrics.
·Spin Speed: Avoid high Spin speed, which may twist and stretch fabric. opt for low to non-spin speed.
·Dry: Air dry or low heat items to prevent damage to fabric and graphics.
